Halley started her food career in Pittsburgh and made things official when she graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in 2009. Her 20 years in the food industry has spanned from working in restaurants to private cheffing in Aspen, to managing Whole Foods Market’s largest Speciality foods program. After getting her first professional food styling gig while spearheading the local foods category at FoodKick by FreshDirect, she transitioned out of corporate work and into her own freelance business. Halley has been obsessively arranging food on plates ever since and has been lucky enough to work with some of the most incredible clients and challenging ingredients.
Her personal food style is aligned with mid-century modern design - she likes things clean and organized on both the plate and off - and loves tedious projects (think: twirling 100 strands of spaghetti).
She currently resides in Brooklyn, with her (many) plates and plants.
