Born and raised in a small village in south Tuscany, his passion for cooking was born right in his home - within the family.
Cristiano started to work at the age of 18 in a farmhouse close his hometown. By the age of 21, he decided to leave for London and continue his culinary experience in a place called Mario - a small family-run restaurant where he had the opportunity to shape himself as a chef. Then he joined a restaurant called Piccolino in Wimbledon village. There he began as a starters chef and eventually became the head chef of the restaurant. In 2011, he moved to Sydney with his wife. After a few more years of experience, he decided to work in EST. - a high level of cuisine, fine dining, modern Australian with an influence of Japanese cuisine.
Right now, Cristiano works for Pino's Vino e Cucina, an Italian restaurant in Australia. Here Cristiano is able to put together all the years of experience and creates his own style of food - classic Italian food with a modern twist on the plate. Cooking with his soul and heart, Cristiano gives the customers a great experience offering great quality food. He changes the menu seasonally and that gives him the opportunity to experience always new products.
